Romans 8:28

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”  Romans 8:28

Another verse that we as Christians should embrace and hold firm. God only wants the best for you. There are times when you may question, “How does this situation work for my good?”. I get it. I’ve had some difficult moments in my life that just didn’t make any sense. I’ve made some boneheaded decisions that lead to a lot of problems. But over the course of time, I’ve witnessed how God used them for my ultimate good. I left a very successful career and significant income at the young age of 27 to open an ice cream store. Looking back, probably a boneheaded decision at the time… However, managing that ice cream store and working side-by-side with teenagers who I employed ultimately lead to my passion for youth ministry. I may have given up a lucrative career, but I have been immensely blessed by each of you and all of the other youth I have grown to know and love over the years. In all things, God works for the good of those who love Him…
