Continuing our meditation on Romans 12:2. Yesterday we focused on “DO NOT CONFORM”. What does it mean to be a “non-conformist”? We got a great response from Jordan that I hope he will post here as well.
Today we add the next section of the verse – “TO THE PATTERN OF THIS WORLD”. Our prayer focus today is on these words. Why do you think Paul chose the word ‘PATTERN’? What is the pattern of our world today? Are there things we can all identify with that form the pattern of our lives today? Is there a pattern you need to stop conforming to?
Remember, learning God’s word is a marathon, not a 100-yard dash. Take time today to let these words sink into your heart and reflect on what they mean to you and how you can apply them to your daily life.
